Charles MacLean responds on Singlemalt.tv
Rob Draper of Singlemalt.tv just emailed to let me know that they'll have an interview with the Scotch Whisky Association's David Williamson on the Whyte and Mackay Purchase and Charlie MacLean clarifies the Indian Newspaper Story later this evening.
Unfortunately, I can't see it on my Mac:)
Based on his response, it didn't seem to me that Mr. MacLean was misquoted at all, and DOES seem to think that the Indian gov't was bullied.
He also seems a bit put out by your comments, Kevin - and seems to be responding to you and NOT to "The Telegraph".
